Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$122,250 – $179,300

This role oversees API supply performance within the Global Supply Chain. It ensures robust supply plans to meet demand, maintain safety stock, and prevent obsolescence. The role supports internal manufacturing and the APIEM team with scenario planning, coordinates the monthly supply chain planning cycle, and ensures appropriate governance on key supply decisions (e.g., API GS&OP).
Key Responsibilities:
Supply & Demand
- Manage API supply across the network within the 0-24 / 36 month planning horizon
- Translate L20 demand to API equivalent & allocate to API supply site (internal & external)
- Review site & network API supply plans
- Measure inventory forecasts versus safety stock target
- Support the network on scenario planning / trade off decisions as part of the monthly API planning process
- Manage relationship between API Network planning and APIEM to ensure appropriate supply plans are in place
Planning
- Support GS&OE execution within 0-12 week window to ensure API allocation is maximized across the network
- SME for Monthly API GS&OP Planning cycle
- Ensure APIEM & L40 Key Materials team are embedded into GS&OP planning processes & cycle
- Manage API Network F2F meeting / Quarterly Demand & Supply Review
- Ensure API planning principles are embedded into IBP Planning processes (Kinaxis)
Inventory
- Support process to set appropriate API Safety Stock levels
- Measure network adherence to Safety Stock targets and support recovery timelines
- Ensure alignment between L20 & L30 on Pedigree Management & Regulatory plans
- Ensure API Inventory obsolescence risk is governed and resolved
Performance
- Support the API site on embedding OSCEE metrics into Supply Chain KPI’s
- Baseline externally on latest on Best in Class Supply Chain KPI’s
- Key liaison with APIEM on CMO supply performance within the API Network
Strategy
- Support Manufacturing strategy on scenarios outside planning 24 month planning horizon
- Align with APIEM on outsourcing decisions and integration of new sources of API
- Business Continuity Planning SME for API across the network
Basic Requirements
- BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or similar science discipline
- 5+ years supply chain / Logistics / quality experience
Additional Preferences
- API manufacturing experience and New Product introduction knowledge is preferable
- Strong background in Planning
- Experience working with SAP
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Metrics
