The Bartender at Cannonball crafts exceptional cocktails, provides friendly and efficient service, and enhances the guest experience with expert knowledge of beverages. They thrive in a fast-paced, oceanfront setting, ensuring a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

What You’ll Do

• Craft Exceptional Drinks: Prepare high-quality cocktails, beer, and wine with precision and consistency.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a spotless and organized bar, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stocked.
• Engage Guests: Provide friendly, knowledgeable service, making personalized recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Move with Purpose: Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting to keep service smooth.
• Work Together: Communicate with servers and barbacks to ensure seamless operations and an outstanding guest experience.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment and to work the line during service periods.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors and guests.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have extensive knowledge of diverse types of beer, wine, and liquor, and know how to mix a variety of specialty cocktails.
• Two years bartending experience required combined with food & beverage service experience.
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food cost, inventory management and purchasing
• Must be able to perform effectively as a team player
• Must be organized and self-motivated.

Expected Hours of Work

Open availability with 2 out of the 3 weekend days available.
