Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$17.30 – $39.06

Form/ Prep Operator Position

Job Description

Position Brand Description:

The Operator -Formulation/Prep Ops will work in the Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing site where Parenteral products for domestic and international markets are manufactured and packaged. The primary purpose of the job is to manufacture and prep sterile products and equipment to be used in filled vials, and syringes.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Adhere to Parenteral Plant safety policies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment
  • Setup and operations in non-aseptic processes
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product
  • Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies/procedures

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience of working in an aseptic environment is desired
  • Must pass a “fitness for Duty” physical exam
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills, with capability to learn in more detail
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience with GMPs
  • Experience working in an aseptic environment is desired

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Other Information:

  • This position is on Night Shift
  • Some overtime work will be required
  • This position is on a 12 hour shift that requires working on alternating weekends
  • Some of the products in Parenteral Operations are known allergens and consequently, a post offer allergy test may be required.
