    About Us:

    Established in 1988, Kubota Manufacturing of America (KMA) is headquartered in Gainesville, Georgia. When KMA began operations in 1988 the first products manufactured were implements. Due to our rapid growth, in 2005 a new company was opened in Jefferson, Georgia. This company now manufactures all tractor implements and performs reassembly of Kubota tractors built in Japan for sale in the U.S. markets. We are making improvements to our production systems and building an innovative but flexible manufacturing structure under our unique culture of a joint U.S. and Japanese leadership team. Through these measures, we are strengthening the operations at our production facilities with the aim of continuing to produce high-quality products.

    About the Position:

    We are looking for a passionate and driven intern to join our Information Technology team for a 12-week internship. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience to contribute to real-world projects. Currently, there are service desk and IT development internships available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • IT Development Intern:

      • Software Design and Development: Designing, coding, and testing software applications or systems based on user requirements and specifications.
      • Requirement Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the software meets business needs.
      • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving bugs and issues in existing software applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
      • Code Review: Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
    • Service Desk Intern:
      • User Support: Providing first-line support to users by addressing their technical issues and inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
      • Incident Management: Logging, categorizing, and prioritizing incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution or escalation as needed.
      • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity problems.
      • Documentation: Creating and maintaining accurate documentation of support processes, known issues, and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields related to Information Technology
    • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, self-motivation to produce high quality work
    • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
