Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer and Graphic Artist with a strong background in audio-video technologies to join our team in a part-time capacity. This unique role will have dual leadership between our IT department and the firm’s CEO office. The individual will be responsible for designing and producing dynamic motion graphics for two large LED walls in our flagship headquarters office, creating compelling audio-visual content for client-facing events, brochures, social media, internal meetings, and town halls, as well as supporting and maintaining our extensive onsite AV systems.
The ideal candidate will combine expertise in graphic design, motion graphics platforms (such as After Effects and DaVinci Resolve), and hands-on experience with advanced audio-video systems, including SONY walls, audio systems, video conferencing systems, and other related technologies. Additionally, a foundational understanding of the finance industry is desired to ensure that content aligns with our firm’s culture and communications needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Motion Graphic Design & Production
- Design and produce captivating motion graphics, animations, and video content for use on two large LED walls, and smaller displays in our corporate headquarters, ensuring high-quality and engaging content for a range of internal and external events.
- Collaborate with the CEO Office to develop content for client meetings, town halls, internal presentations, social media, print, and events, ensuring the graphics and videos reflect the firm’s branding and messaging.
- Develop both dynamic and static content, incorporating motion graphics, video editing, and audio integration using After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and other industry-standard platforms.
Audio-Visual Technology Support & Management
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the audio-visual systems, including Sony LED walls, audio systems, microphones, video conferencing systems, and other hardware/software technologies.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of the AV systems into our infrastructure, including networking, software compatibility, and system updates.
- Ensure optimal functionality of the AV systems for large-scale presentations, internal meetings and live events, providing onsite technical support during events as needed.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Teamwork
- Work closely with the IT department and the CEO Office to understand the AV and content needs for corporate events and meetings, ensuring the integration of content and technology is aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide technical and creative advice to leadership, ensuring that the content and technology used is state-of-the-art and aligned with our firm’s branding and culture.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in motion graphic design, multimedia production, and audio-visual technology support.
- Previous experience with audio-visual systems, including Sony LED walls, audio equipment, video conferencing systems and microphones.
- Background or understanding of the finance or brokerage industry is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in motion graphics software (After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Experience with Appspace and Crestron software, or similar programs, preferred.
- Hands-on experience with audio-video technologies, including LED displays, audio systems, and presentation technologies.
- Familiarity with AV system integration and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of IT systems and networking is a plus.

- Creative thinker with an eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a high-paced, corporate environment.
Additional Requirements:
- A portfolio showcasing motion graphics work, including video samples, is required.
- Candidate will need to be on-site in our midtown office approximately 2 times per week, and periodically for setup and support during events or meetings.
