Role Overview
The CHRO and COO are recruiting for a new role, an Operations HR Business Partner that will be based on-site out of our Wadsworth, OH headquarters. This role will work across multiple businesses that were originally founder built, and share a passionate car culture in their employees and customers. The role is an ideal fit for an HR professional who enjoys partnering to build high performing teams and implement programs across multiple sites. The role will require an ability to both roll-up sleeves and support hourly recruiting, coaching and tactical employee engagement, and also partner on strategic workforce planning, career mapping, and analytics. EAH is a fast paced, private equity environment and this role will act as a trusted advisor to the COO and Operations management on all HR-related topics.
Primary Duties (others as assigned):
Tactical: Keep the business running with staffing, coaching, and retention support
- Partner with client groups on recruitment strategy that attracts candidates with the right skills, ensure a positive candidate experience and leads employee orientations
- Serves as a point of escalation for advice or involvement with employee relations concerns, disciplinary, investigation, or other employee relations issues
- Support client group on the day-to-day HR activities, i.e. recruiting, employee engagement and retention, HR administration, annual HR processes, etc.
- Ensure all HR matters are handled fairly and consistently with compliance regulations
- Manage FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, ADA and STD / LTD for client group
Strategic: Co-develop and implement programs across multiple sites, including piloting new programs and monitoring/adjusting, implementing standard work/processes, automation and development of analytics to monitor business performances
- Safety: Partner on standard training programs, OSHA and internal reporting processes, investigations and root causes
- Employee Engagement: Review survey feedback and sites and coordinate improvement programs with Operations leaders
- Career Mapping: Collaborate on learning and development standard programs across sites, performance management and creating career roadmaps for core teams
- Succession Planning: Develop annual program to identify growth and development areas for employees, and business continuity planning
Requirements
- 7 – 10 years of HR experience
- 5+ years supporting an executive
- 5+ years supporting an operations function including manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or customer service
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in providing HR client support across multi-site and multi-state
- Recruiting and staffing experience for production and professional positions
- Experience planning, facilitating, and conducting training

Travel Requirements: Up to 20% domestically
