General Overview
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for executing diverse tasks related to the production and release of materials during the manufacturing of products for human consumption, while complying with applicable procedures, regulations and following good manufacturing practices. Main activities may include Dispensing, Granulation, Mixing, Compression, Coating, Printing, Incorporation, Encapsulation and Cleaning.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform tasks pertaining to the assigned area (Dispensing, Granulation, Mixing, Compression, Coating, Printing, Incorporation, Encapsulation and Cleaning).
- Be trained and execute as per written procedures/instructions following good documentation practices.
- Document production processes following GMP and ensuring data integrity.
- Immediately escalate any atypical situation related to process, procedure or specification.
- Maintain and document inventories of active product ingredients.
- Verify area and equipment, temperatures, humidity, forklift, assistive equipment, among others before and after production processes.
- Perform on the job training related to equipment functionalities, process and tasks under his/her scope of work.
- Dispose hazardous waste generated in the area in the correct WSIS and using approved DOT bins.
- Comply with access control systems to protect people and product.
- Follow procedures related to management of special security/controlled substances.
- Adhere to Quality and HSE expectations, policies and procedures. Identify and report area risks, near misses and events.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in science or engineering. Technical degrees in instrumentation, applied mechanics, etc. may be considered.
- Six+ years of experience in dry product manufacturing processes in a highly regulated GMP environment
- Experience working with electronic batch records, Regulus, Apogee, and SAP

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under limited supervision
- Work in rotating shifts in a 7/24 operation

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$12.62 – $29.63
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
