Description

The Product Line Manager will have overall responsibility and accountability for the performance of the ASAS Joint venture (AAR Sumisho Aviation Services), a 50/50 joint venture between AAR and Sumitomo Corporation, established to provide parts supply and services to Japanese defense customers.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Maximize sales and margin objectives for the Product Line.
  • Coordinate with staff to achieve business objectives in fiscal year plan.
  • Identify market trends to anticipate areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
  • Ensure customer service levels are met.
  • Coordinate with the product lines and sales group to identify new program opportunities.
  • Travel up to 10%
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12-18 months’ experience in Product Line Supervisor role or equivalent required. In-depth knowledge of airplane parts.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus. The position offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
