Position
Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Senior Public Information Officer position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

This class is the supervisory level in the Public Information Officer series. Incumbents in this class are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive public information, media relations, and communication programs. This position supervises, leads, plans, schedules, and oversees the work of Public Information Officers and Public Information Specialists and ensures completion of tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Communications, Public Relations, Public or Business Administration, Journalism, English, or other field closely related to the intent of the class.
AND
Two years of full-time paid experience in public relations and communications which included responsibility for organizing and implementing one or more media and public relations programs.
