We’re looking for Assistant Restaurant Manager professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager you’ll play an essential role in daily operations and maintaining the high level of service that our guests expect with their dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for overall supervision, planning, controlling and coordination of all activities of the assigned outlet.
  • Monitor and supervise service flow in the assigned outlet.
  • Ensure food & beverage brand standards are maintained.
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally.
  • Assist in achieving financial targets through maximizing revenue and managing expenses and productivity.
  • Performance management of all restaurant colleagues through constant communication, training, development, and follow-up.
  • Inspects establishment and observes workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations.
  • Ensure staff complies with guest check procedures, cash handling and accounting procedures.

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college, university, or degree from culinary institute; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hospitality degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in Food & Beverage Supervisory role management with a strong knowledge of restaurant operation preferred.
  • Previous hotel restaurant experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining inventory, ordering, and scheduling preferred.

Be on your feet for long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment.
Adapt to seasonal menu changes and special events.
Physical demands: Ability to lift up-to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
Work Environment: This role regularly involves extended hours, nights, and weekends to accommodate peak business periods. Operating within a dynamic, fast-paced guest-centric setting, you will maintain a high level of interaction with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
