Senior IT Specialist

Location: Torrance, CA (in-office position)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Specialist with a strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud server management, EDI, ERP system integration and implementation, programming, and advanced Excel capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in partnering with our IT vendor to support business operations and future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Server Management:

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize cloud-based environments (Azure and similar, File servers such as Dropbox experience).
• Oversee cloud migrations, security protocols, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

ERP System Integration and Implementation:

• Partner with the Company’s team and vendor on ERP system implementation projects.
• Work with Company’s team and vendor to integrate ERP systems with existing software and processes.
• Oversee IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Programming and Development:

• Develop and maintain custom applications and integrations (preferred experience with languages such as SQL, Python, or VBA, Excel).
• Create API connections between systems where necessary.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Macros, VBA) for data analysis, reporting, and system management.
• Develop dashboards and tools to enhance visibility into key business metrics.
• Power BI Experience

General IT Support and Strategy:

• Oversee technical support for system issues and upgrades.
• Collaborate with leadership to recommend and implement IT solutions that align with business goals.
• Partner with IT vendor to ensure cybersecurity measures are up-to-date and compliant with best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 -7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven success in ERP implementation and integration (experience with systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, MS Business Central, or similar).
• Solid programming skills (SQL, Python, or other relevant languages).
• Knowledge or experience in designing and managing relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), including an understanding of data modeling and database performance optimization.
• Advanced Excel expertise (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros, VBA coding).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
• Japanese speaking is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cybersecurity protocols and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with CRM systems integration.
• Project management experience, including leading IT initiatives.
