The Logistics Coordinator works closely with our Vice President of Robots & Fleet, as well as our Sales, Marketing, Deployment, Customer Experience and other internal teams and external customers to anticipate and position inventory in the right locations, at the right time, while keeping the stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities include:
- Leverage your Native Generative AI skills to help our Vice President of Fleet bring AI agents into the work place
- This is a hands-on position with a good amount of physical activity, balanced with desk work
- This position requires someone who sees opportunities for improvement and takes an “owner” mindset to design and bring work improvements to the V.P. using the tools that we already own (eg: ChatGPT; SAP; Hubspot; Slack workflow automation; Notion)
- Must be a team player – a quick learner – high energy – and have the mindset and discipline of a collegiate rowing team member
- Alignment between warehouses, including supply coordination, stock transfers, inventory control
- Inventory health management – turnover analysis, demand planning, cycle counting and twice-yearly physical inventory
- Process documentation, improvement, and monitoring to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Warehouse supply coordination in consultation with multiple on-site teams
- Reporting and analysis of data from demand planning software, WMS systems, and other platforms.
- Coordinating with third-party warehouse staff to support scaling and improve internal efficiencies.
- Root cause analysis (5 Whys / 8D / other methodology)
- Receive, count, and stock spare parts and finished goods shipments
- Log all received shipments in SAP Business ByDesign and Salesforce
- Create shipments (LTL, parcel, TL) in support of internal and external customer orders
- Create event and trade show shipments and recoveries
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and twice-annual physical inventories
- Assist in the reverse logistics processes (RMA) with the Customer Care team
- Follow all products in transit to ensure timely delivery
- Create customs documents for international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
- Create and run reports in SAP and Salesforce to assisting with inventory analysis and monthly demand planning cycles
- Help to create and maintain a safe, clean and welcoming work environment
- Other activities as may be required from time to time to support the entire team
- Physically pack/unpack and palletize shipments for QC inspection and deliveries to customers
- Doesn’t mind switching between tasks often from desk to physical work depending on the volume of shipments on a given day
Requirements
- Holistic thinking – ability to follow a process, and consider it’s preceding and following steps, and their gaps and impacts.
- Technology proficient – able to learn new tools and experiment in their implementation (including AI tools, new software, etc.)
- Ability to synthesize information, distill findings, and present in a manner appropriate to the audience.
The logistics and supply chain team, on a daily basis, is involved in receiving and shipping both large and small parcel shipments, importation, stock keeping, pick and pack, etc. The person who is appropriate for this role will be able and willing to step in to these tasks as required for the daily workload and as a way to learn about our processes and business needs.
While no single candidate may embody all the qualifications below, an ideal candidate will possess many of the following skills and abilities:
- The ability to lift 30-40lbs unassisted
- Proficiency in Excel, as well as familiarity with other general office technologies.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, supply chain experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General familiarity with parcel and freight shipping, DOT/IATA hazmat regulations
- Japanese, Spanish or Mandarin proficiency is welcome
- While 1-3 years logistics or supply chain experience may be helpful; naivete’ and native Gen AI skills may be ideal
- ERP and/or CRM experience (SAP and Salesforce preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- A focused and proactive mindset
- Proven track record as someone who enjoys working with a team – we give bonus points and promotion opportunities for strong team members who bring solutions to the V.P. of Fleet where you see opportunities to replace your role through the use of our pre-existing systems and using stand along (not integrated) generative AI programs that you have developed using ChatGPT, Slack automation, Notion, SAP, Paylocity and Hubspot.
Position specifications:
- Hourly rate: $24-$28/hour based on experience level, location and demonstrated generative AI capability
