Sales Coordinator

About the Role:
The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team to achieve their targets and enhance customer satisfaction. This position involves coordinating sales activities, managing schedules, and ensuring that all sales processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales data and assisting in the preparation of sales reports. By facilitating communication between the sales team and other departments, the Sales Coordinator helps to streamline operations and improve overall productivity. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to contribute to the growth of the company by ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped to meet its objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Familiarity with sales processes and techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with prospects and customers and assist with their needs.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and out-bound cold calls and emails.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships. Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.
- Fielding of website-generated service requests.
- Generates recycling proposals for prospects.
- Record all activities in our CRM, Salesforce.com.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate outside sales team member for closure when working on joint opportunities.
- Close orders and achieve quarterly quota targets.
Competency:
- Proven inside sales experience.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Must have knowledge and skill in the utilization of computer databases.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
- Previous experience with business-to-business customer support.
- General knowledge of the used cooking oil market and/or experience in restaurant, food manufacturing or agricultural is a plus.
- Being Bilingual is a PLUS – Spanish, Filipino, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, Japanese, or Vietnamese.
