Job Description

The Sales Training Manager position acts as our lead educator and is responsible for the analysis, development and facilitation of consistent sales learning .The position is an integral part of teaching brand ambassadorship and building a sales force that performs at the highest level of professional excellence. The objective of building a more efficient, profitable sales force is also part of the duties as well as the development of the whole sales training team. This position is evolving and may have the tasking adjust as the sales platform changes.

Schedule Details:

Our Sales Department operates 7 days per week. Hours of operation may vary based upon business needs.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the Senior Sales Manager and the Directors in achieving maximum sales efficiencies and results.
  • Be a knowledgeable educator in Max, Hilton Honors points and Hawaii and US trust Collection within the first year in this role.
  • Align onboarding and weekly site training schedules-coordinate to serve Hawaii region needs.
  • Coach sales team members to improve their overall sales performance through one-on-one counseling, classroom modules, ride-alongs, and study materials
  • Coordinate morning meeting content and schedules for “The Morning Show”. Assist with EOD reporting.
  • Review efficiency and production reports for SE and SM ICU training.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and ongoing development sessions for training staff and site management.
  • Deliver and ensure that New Hires are properly trained and understand Company culture and guidelines to aid in successful acclimation to Hilton Grand Vacation’s values and performance goals. Align malama mentality with training culture.
  • Communicate new product initiatives and policy or procedural changes that impact training programs or relevant material.
  • Maintain all sales education materials including regular updates using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Educate sales team on learning curriculum that includes Virtual and special Market Segment training as well as Product price promo strategies.
  • Educate SM’s and SM II’s on HPPS and MPS one-on-one meetings.
  • Support and collaborate with sales leaders to conduct product and sales sequence development workshops.
  • Assist in developing tools to benchmark and identify top industry practices and new developments in learning in both employee and technological management systems.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Management, as needed, to promote business objectives.

  • Minimum of 2 years in Sales, working with Action and In-House lines and/or a training environment and 2 years of experience within a branded timeshare organization
  • Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Minimum 1 year of people management and/or experience leading a team as a Sales Leader / TO Sales Closer
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays; Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed
  • Strong relationship skills and the demonstrated ability to manage key partners across fields
  • Experience facilitating and collaborating with groups or teams within an organization
  • Experience training and/or coaching others to reach peak results
