Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and enhancement of commodities trading, sales, and risk management systems.
- Engage with trading, sales, operations, and executive teams to perform requirements analysis and document design specifications.
- Coordinate with internal and external IT teams to guide development, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Maximize the design and utilization of iRely for trading and risk management, while also evaluating other potential solutions.
- Lead efforts to automate daily trade position and risk reporting.
- Optimize and automate complex workflows.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (field of study open; diverse intellectual and educational backgrounds valued).
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in commodities trading, manufacturing, middle office, or market risk environments.
- Experience implementing enterprise solutions combining disparate data sources to create business-critical analytics and reporting solutions.
- Expert understanding of commodities markets and trading practices.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and manage matrixed teams without a direct supervisory relationship.
- Effective written communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- General office environment with majority of time using computer
- Regular exposure to plant floor, including noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience implementing and enhancing trading systems, risk systems, data warehouses, and ETLs.
- Proficiency in iRely, SQL, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel, AI, and SAP.
- Demonstrated collaboration across teams and ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels from administrative staff to executive leadership.
- Self-motivated, quality and detail-oriented, collaborative, creative, logical, and high business acumen.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience facilitating post-acquisition business transformation and modernization.
- The role offers wide opportunities for growth within the Middle Office and the broader company, with potential career advancement in various disciplines.
- International business experience, especially with Japanese companies, is a plus.

- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and code of conduct.
- Comply with workplace uniform requirements and safety gear, when on the plant floor v. office.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below. The base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. The actual base salary within the specified range is based on several factors, including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, education, certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.
Salary Range $165K-180K
