Position Overview

As Bar Manager, you will lead our bar program while working as the Lead Artistry Bartender 5 nights a week. You’ll oversee operations, drive creative cocktail development, and mentor your team in delivering Tokyo Pie’s elevated, show-stopping style. This role is for a hands-on leader with a passion for innovation and a love of engaging guests in the artistry of drink-making.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Manage daily bar operations including inventory, ordering, and cost control.
  • Hire, train, and inspire a top-tier bar team.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, cleanliness, and alcohol regulations.

Creative Development

  • Design and execute innovative cocktails aligned with Tokyo Pie’s brand identity.
  • Integrate theatrical elements such as fire, smoke, infusions, and elevated garnishing techniques.
  • Collaborate with ownership to launch seasonal cocktail menus and special events.

Guest Experience

  • Lead from behind the bar during peak nights, setting the tone for service.
  • Create memorable, high-energy guest interactions.
  • Build relationships with regulars and cultivate a loyal following.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in mixology with a portfolio of creative cocktails.
  • Experience with theatrical presentation (fire, smoke, molecular elements) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and cost-control experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-energy environment.
