THE JOB:

As a Sushi Cook at Tekka Bar inside Cosmopolitan you’ll be the artisan behind unforgettable Japanese dining experiences, expertly crafting sushi and delightful dishes that tantalize the palate! With your warm smile and attentive service, you’ll create an inviting atmosphere that makes every guest feel special. By connecting with each visitor and understanding their unique stories, you’ll turn every meal into a cherished memory they’ll carry long after their visit!

THE STARTING RATE: $16.6607 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Apply advance knife skills required for making sushi and other Japanese dishes
• Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail of plate presentation
• Ensure food quality is superior and correct any irregularities
• Conduct inventory on a regular basis of specified food items and proper par levels
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning as well as cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas
• Follow recipes according to Chef specifications
• Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of challenges that arise and how they have been corrected
• Assist with pantry and preparation areas

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ years of prior relevant sushi experience
