Japanese Bilingual IT Manager

Seeking bilingual, hands-on IT Manager w/ 5+ yrs' experience in IT infrastructure to oversee US operations in Ann Arbor, MI. May consider Torrance CA & Mesa AZ.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance capabilities of the IT infrastructure, information security, and their governance across all locations as IT Management.
• Strategic leadership and hands-on technical skills such as hands-on maintenance and management for PCs, smartphones, networks, business systems, and information security.
• IT help desk management and  common service/oversight of information security in the US.
• Review annual plan and payroll budget.
• Monitor staff members’ daily operations and  skills development.
• Report directly to President & CEO.
• Hiring for the Ann Arbor, Michigan location, but can consider candidates for the Torrence, California or Mesa, Arizona locations.

Requirements

• B.A. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 5 years+ in IT infrastructure or related field management experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure (Windows PC, iOS device, Windows/Linux Server, LAN device, WAN service, Web filter, DNS, VPN and/or Firewall).
• Cloud based infrastructure (ex. VDI, XaaS, SD-WAN, SASE) will be a plus.
• Advanced/native Japanese language skills required. Oral and written skills in English and Japanese required.
