The Event Coordinator is responsible for organizing and assisting the events department with providing exceptional customer service for private events inquiries. Working with current and prospective private event clients efficiently and effectively while maximizing reservation capacities.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Events team in the building and maintenance of the event registration platform and delegate registration experience
- Support with the planning and execution of all logistical event arrangements with precision and accuracy
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs and expectations
- Prepare and print customized menu cards and other event materials
- Assist with site visits and showings with potential clients, showcasing Zuma’s event spaces and offerings if necessary
- Handle the administration of event bookings, confirmations, and cancellations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation
- Assist with event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and coordination of vendors and staff
- Attend meetings with clients and internal teams to discuss event details and ensure alignment on expectations
What We Look For
Our ideal candidate embodies our values and the following:
- 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in using event management and sales software
- Professional demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
