About the role

We’re looking for a contract Associate Approvals Manager to oversee the approvals process for consumer products, product marketing, and related goods. You’ll work directly with Japanese licensors and global licensees, managing approvals from start to finish. You will focus on a mix of developing and established IPs, with opportunities to support major IPs.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the approval workflow process to ensure timely and accurate completion of approvals
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary approvals and resolve any discrepancies
• Review and analyze approval requests to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce approval cycle time
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement approval strategies and policies

For this contract role we are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Dallas office.
About You

• 2+ years of experience in an approvals management, licensing, or related role
• Experience working with international partners, ideally in Japan or with Japanese licensors
• Ability to interpret and apply complex policies and procedures
• Experience with approval workflow software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
