Overview:
Our Japanese restaurant is looking for a personable and detail-oriented Server to deliver exceptional service to our dine-in and takeout guests. In this role, you’ll be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling takeout transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. A strong knowledge or interest in Japanese cuisine and culture is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and with warmth
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate with the kitchen
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations from the menu
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and attend to guest needs throughout their visit
• Package and process takeout orders with accuracy and care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Work collaboratively with other team members and assist where needed

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Interest in Japanese cuisine and a willingness to learn
