Summary
The GP Sales analyst plays a critical role in driving business growth, minimizing risks, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This position supports the GP Sales Management team by expertly managing pricing strategies, quality control measures, and key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, tactical execution, and effective communication to optimize sales processes, enhance customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate Customer Relationships: Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication, site visits, and efficient issue resolution.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with sales and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage Procurement: Calculate and process purchase orders based on customer requests, forecasts, inventory levels, safety stock, and lead times.
  • Analyze Financial Performance: Evaluate monthly sales, gross profit, customer AR aging, and inventory aging to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Report on Performance: Manage and track KPIs/FMDS, providing monthly financial reviews and projections.
  • Ensure Compliance: Supply necessary information for compliance-related matters.
  • Drive Sales & Pricing: Generate quotations, perform pricing calculations, negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers.
  • Review customer/supplier report cards, addressing feedback to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Pursue kaizen activities and standardization to control costs and optimize sales processes to increase efficiency and identify/resolve bottlenecks.
  • Manage price changes, quotations, and system updates for accurate customer communication.
  • Manage quality issues and material changes (PCR/ECI).
  • Oversee program launches and phase-outs, safeguarding company and supplier interests.
  • Other duties may be assigned

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred
  • 3 to 6 years related experience.
  • Knowing Japanese or Spanish a plus but not required.
