Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Japanese/English) – Remote
We are actively seeking a highly qualified Bilingual Customer Service Representatives to support our Commercial Agent team. This is a fully remote, nationwide opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and are fluent in native-level Japanese, with English as a strong second language.

Position Overview
The Bilingual CSR serves as a key point of contact for customers, providing support across a variety of service needs including claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal assistance, ID cards, and general inquiries. In this role, you will help members navigate issues, resolve concerns, and ensure they receive accurate and timely information.
This is a phone-based, customer-facing position requiring clear, professional communication and the ability to explain complex information in a simple, friendly, and effective way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service in both Japanese and English across phone, email, and portal interactions.
  • Assist members with inquiries related to claims, benefits, enrollment, ID cards, and the member portal.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with a focus on accuracy, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Navigate and use multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously.
  • Maintain excellent documentation and follow established procedures for each call or inquiry.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adherence to customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to resolve member concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese (regional dialect fluency preferred)
  • English fluency as a second language
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional grammar and tone
  • Ability to clearly explain complex information over the phone
  • Comfort navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously
  • Must complete required employment testing prior to submission

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a call center environment
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Medical or insurance-related background
Minimum USD hourly rate: 26.00
Maximum USD hourly rate: 26.00
