IJW Whiskey Company, LLC (IJW) is a dynamic, fully integrated spirits company. Founded in 2017, we’ve compiled the largest independent library of aged Kentucky bourbon and rye and established a global presence including offices in Beverly Hills, Louisville and Tokyo, Japan, a 40-acre campus in Danville and a bottling facility in Harrodsburg. Our strategic partnership with one of the nation’s largest independent Wine & Spirits distributors has enabled us to offer 22 products across four unique private label bourbon brands in 28 states. We have added to our spirits portfolio with our first Tequila and Mezcal brands.

Position Overview:

The Procurement Analyst ensures the timely supply of dry goods based on production schedules, supports the new product development (NPD) process and optimizes ERP system use for procurement efficiency. The ideal candidate will balance inventory management, new product development, and ERP system proficiency to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Supply Management:

  • Ensure the timely supply of dry goods based on production schedules to avoid stockouts or delays in production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels and secure competitive pricing.
  • Track and report on inventory levels, supplier performance, and procurement costs to support decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization.

New Product Development (NPD):

  • Manage activities for new product development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring all material and liquid needs are identified.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to meet project timelines.
  • Manage project management software for new and existing projects.

ERP System Management:

  • Effectively utilize the company’s ERP system to manage procurement activities, including order placement, tracking, and invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate records of material specifications, supplier information, and inventory levels within the system.
  • Work with IT and other departments to optimize ERP workflows for procurement and inventory management.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for audits, quality checks, and internal reviews.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor vendor performance, and assess purchasing trends.
  • Create and maintain detailed Excel reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key procurement metrics (e.g., cost analysis, purchase order accuracy, lead times, etc.).
  • Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Generate regular procurement performance reports and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Procurement Process Optimization:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain visibility and reduce procurement cycle times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and creating complex spreadsheets for decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).

Minimum USD Salary: 60,000
Maximum USD Salary: 75,000
