Description

Job Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately processing large volumes of invoices daily.
• Perform payment reconciliation.
• Gathering and preparing AP related reports.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Perform GL reconciliation.
• Proactively communicate with vendors and other departments.
• Assisting monthly, quarterly, and yearly book closing.
• Research and suggest solutions when encountering issues.
• Maintain vendor records.
• Recommending Accounting Best Practices, support the Accounting Manager in equipping decision-makers with the financial data needed to solve business problems.
• Other assigned tasks.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting or an accountant related certificate which demonstrates competencies and skills in accounting theory, U.S. GAAP, and the professional accounting code of conduct.
• Prior experience in AP operation.
• Take initiative in solving problems rather than waiting for direction.
• Ability to adapt and learn new processes and operations quickly.
• Fluent in English.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and able to take constructive criticisms.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Integrity and the ability to manage confidential information with a high level of discretion.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially World, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be punctual.

Certificates & Licenses:
• California State Driver’s License

Language Ability:
• Speak, Read and Write Japanese is a plus

Work Environment:
• Indoor (Artificial Lighting; Air Conditioned)
• Outdoor (Store parking area, and/or travel between stores)
• Noise Level is moderate
