Position Title: Busser/Server Assistant

Kobe Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse is seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

As a Busser/Server Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring all guests receive prompt and friendly service, creating memorable moments. In this role, you will support servers by providing excellent customer service as needed, while maintaining a clean, well-organized dining environment.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Setting the dining table for customers
• Prepare and serve soup, salad, and other menu items as directed.
• Assist your servers to provide excellent service, such as refilling drinks.
• Removing dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dining room.
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, floors, and booths
• Prepare and organize the plates, cups, and utensils in the dishpit to be washed
• Effectively operate and maintain the dining room bus cart to streamline the clearing and resetting of tables

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate integrity, respect, hard work, teamwork and a positive attitude values
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently as a team
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays preferred.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and company standards
• Must follow all Responsible Vendor training guidelines to promote safe and legal alcohol service
• Ability to continuously bend, reach, twist and carry; and lift, push, pull and move up to 60 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
