MEPPI’s Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional development project teams to deliver solutions to our clients. You will manage all aspects of technical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, business objectives, and quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- End-to-End Project Execution: Apply project management expertise to plan, organize, and execute projects from definition through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, risk, and budget objectives.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional development teams to ensure timely completion of assigned project milestones and deliverables.
- Schedule Planning & Control: Develop and maintain project schedules using WBS and scheduling tools while monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Risk & Resource Management: Identify and manage project risks, trade-offs, and resource constraints to ensure successful outcomes, and escalate critical risks to stakeholders when necessary.
- Decision-Making Facilitation: Facilitate effective decision-making within the team to resolve technical and schedule challenges promptly.
- Professional Representation: Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Division through effective dealings with customers and other internal departments and divisions.
What You Bring
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical project management.
Skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with significant technical and budgetary impact.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, WBS, Risk Analysis, FMEA).
- Ability to work in multicultural environments with emphasis on Italian and Japanese cultures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentation capabilities
- Experience with Stage-Gate or similar product development processes.
