Position Overview:
The Barback plays a vital support role in ensuring the bar operates efficiently and seamlessly throughout each shift. This position focuses on organization, cleanliness, and maintaining all necessary supplies to allow bartenders to deliver exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate is fast, reliable, detail-oriented, and a true team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Bar Support & Stocking:

  • Maintain shift par levels on all liquors, beer, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
  • Keep all bar stations and service wells stocked with ice and replenishments
  • Monitor glassware and restock from dish station as needed
  • Prepare garnishes and juices as instructed by the bar team
  • Support bartenders in executing a fast and smooth service

Cleanliness & Setup:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar and surrounding service areas
  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning and side work checklists
  • Remove trash and recycling during and after service
  • Assist with opening and closing setup/breakdown duties

Team Communication & Guest Support:

  • Work closely with the bartender and floor staff to anticipate needs
  • Step in as needed to support service or guest interactions
  • Keep management informed of low stock, equipment issues, or guest-related feedback

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly in a high-volume setting
  • Able to work on your feet for 8+ hours
  • Able to bend, reach, and climb stairs and ladders
  • Understands the importance of teamwork, timeliness, and cleanliness
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Punctual, dependable, and eager to contribute
