Position Title: Bar Runner

Kobe Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse is seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

As a Bar Runner, you will support the bar team by delivering drinks promptly, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The position requires a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for both guests and the bar team.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Serve water to the customers & refill as needed
• Ensure bar drinks are delivered in a timely manner
• Refill and restock ice bins, fruits, and garnishes at the bar as needed
• Assist with tasks such as washing bar glasses and emptying out the trash at the end of the night
• Operate and maintain the drink cart to efficiently deliver beverages to guests.
• Present specific cocktail drinks tableside
• Keep bar area clean and well-organized

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate integrity, respect, hard work, teamwork and a positive attitude values
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently as a team
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays preferred.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and company standards
• Must follow all Responsible Vendor training guidelines to promote safe and legal alcohol service
• Ability to continuously bend, reach, twist and carry; and lift, push, pull and move up to 15 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
