JOB SUMMARY:

This position helps the company develop opportunities in the F&B and retail markets. We, as Mitsukoshi, operate a retail store, both table service restaurants and quick service restaurants by providing Japanese merchandise and food at Epcot. One of our missions is to promote Japanese culture and cuisine to U.S. customers. In the near future, Mitsukoshi is planning to remodel the store, some of the restaurants, and build another commissary. This position needs to have a proactive mindset and initiative in the store planning while making sure of the steps and project directions with the General Manager of Business Strategy. This role involves gathering information and maintaining close communication with not only other departments but also business partners to ensure that the project continues smoothly.

Essential job Functions
• Plan, lead, execute a successful and support the property remodeling project.
• Responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of store and restaurant remodel project. Able to manage from start to finish, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.
• Execute and promote the project plan by reflecting the current issue in operation with the mind set of Kaizen.
• Conduct due diligence and suggest the project direction to General Manager of Business Strategy.
• Formulate plan and blueprint for the project.
• Manage project budget, track, and report the progress to General Manager of Business Strategy.
• Identify new properties to address company challenges, conduct due diligence, and submit proposals to the General Manager of Business Strategy.
• Create presentation materials for the stakeholders.
• Create RFP and present it to business partners.
• Monitor and enforce compliance.
• Collaborate with departments to visualize the problems in current operations and report them to the supervisor.
• Prepare presentation for WD and Vendors
• Coordination and direction with internal departments
• Building and advancing relationships with Walt Disney Company and establishing and developing strong communication routes with the company.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

qualifications:

• Experience in opening/remodeling restaurants with technical and practical knowledge of all building systems. Ex: Preconstruction process experience in restaurant prefer, including site surveys and site walks, reading construction drawings, reviewing MEP drawings, subcontractor choice, and preparation of client proposals especially in commercial facility field.
• 1+ year of Construction Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage general contractors, specialty vendors, and other professionals providing services for construction projects, on both a per-project and national agreement level.
• Basic understanding of Japanese culture and/or strong interest to Japanese Culture.

• Able to communicate effectively and clearly in English with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company including the non-native English speakers with respectful manner.
• Able to read and understand written information. Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office.
