Position Summary:

Leverage your creativity as Amkor’s Sr. Manager, Creative! Bring cutting-edge semiconductor technology to life through stunning visual content, vibrant videos, and compelling graphics. You’ll be the creative leader behind everything from social media content and presentation graphics to technical videos and tradeshow materials that showcase industry-leading innovations.

This hands-on role combines a variety of graphical mastery with video production skills-creating content that spans digital platforms, print materials, and live events. Your expertise will enhance our graphical asset library while collaborating with engineers and leaders to transform complex technical concepts into visually engaging stories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful Sr. Manager, Creative will serve as a versatile creative professional, working independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality visual content across print, digital, and video platforms. This role requires strong project management skills to handle multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining brand standards and meeting tight deadlines. The Sr. Manager, Creative will interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from technical engineers to executives, adapting communication style and creative approach to meet diverse project requirements and audience needs. This role will serve as a seasoned member of the creative team and will be responsible for leadership, and strategic guidance.

  • Create immersive graphic designs using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, etc.).
  • Produce and edit engaging video and motion graphic content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Create short-form content for social media platforms and long-form content for training, conferences, and technical events.
  • Manage and maintain direction for the corporate Digital Asset Management system (image, document, and video database).
  • Ensure consistent corporate branding across all visual communications in alignment with the strategy of the marketing communications organization.
  • Review, proof, and route marketing communications projects to appropriate divisions.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide creative support for ongoing advertising campaigns for both electronic and print media.
  • Capture company culture through interviews and both scripted and unscripted content.
  • Support video production for tradeshows, technical conferences, and customer/sales events.
  • Provide technical support and coaching for internal resources on self-video creation.
  • Facilitate uploading, organizing, metadata, and archiving of digital assets.
  • Ensure accurate usage permissions and compliance for the organization’s digital assets.
  • Distribute newly created materials to corporate and sales staff.
  • Update marketing communications content for local intranet and external websites.
  • Provide production support for presentations, schedules, and calendars using MS Office Suite.
  • Support corporate marketing projects directed by management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors/agencies.
  • Handle multiple projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Manage UX/UI support for external website with a solid understanding of front-end web and mobile technologies such as CSS/HTML, as well as back-end technologies required for corporate websites.

Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising, communications, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in graphic design and marketing communications.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Intermediate-Advanced video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • PowerPoint skills with ability to create compelling graphics and presentations.
  • Digital Asset Management tool experience.
  • Proficient working knowledge of PC computer tools/software: Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, WordPress).
  • Strong organizational skills with experience handling multiple projects, changing priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with sound business judgment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand cohesion, concept development, and multi-channel execution.
  • Ability to interact professionally with various team members, outside agencies, and business partners.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Dependable and reliable with the ability to excel under pressure.
  • Design portfolio demonstrating creative capabilities.
  • Motion design experience with proficiency in After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D or other 3D software.
  • Hands-on experience in intranet/internet web page development.
  • Technical, semiconductor or high-technology industry background.
  • Experience building or scaling an in-house creative or studio model and conducting brand assessments, public company re-brands, and investor days.
  • Passion for culture, design, storytelling, and emerging trends.
  • Fluency in English and Korean or Japanese strongly desired.

Location:
Tempe, AZ or San Jose, CA. This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
