Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Redmond, WA | Full-Time | Exempt
Pay Range: $81,000- $85,000/Annually
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our multi-unit organization. This role is based at our Support Center in Redmond, WA, and reports directly to the VP of Operations.
In this role, you will oversee payroll operations across multiple states and locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This position is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of payroll regulations and experience managing payroll in a multi-unit environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll across multiple states and entities with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage payroll taxes, withholdings, and deductions in compliance with regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Audit payroll data, including timekeeping and employee records
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and year-end documentation
- Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee data flow
- Monitor and implement updates to payroll laws and regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, multi-entity environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP or UKG preferred)
- Restaurant industry experience and tip payroll knowledge preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills are a plus
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
