A private family in Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a talented and experienced Full-Time Private Chef to provide fresh, healthy, and delicious meals in a casual household environment.

The family is looking for a chef who enjoys creating innovative, clean, and flavorful menus, with an emphasis on healthy cuisine. Preferred styles include Mexican and Japanese, with a strong focus on seafood and fresh ingredients.

This is a live-out position where the chef will be responsible for daily in-home meal preparation, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Culinary Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals in-home for the family
• Create healthy, clean, and innovative menus
• Incorporate a variety of cuisines, especially Mexican, Japanese, and seafood-focused dishes
• Ensure meals are fresh, balanced, and high quality
• Adapt meals to family preferences while maintaining creativity

Kitchen & Household Responsibilities

• Handle grocery shopping and ingredient sourcing
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and pantry
• Clean up after meal preparation
• Ensure kitchen is well-stocked and efficiently run

The ideal candidate is a creative and organized chef who takes pride in both their cuisine and kitchen management.

Qualifications include:

• Prior experience as a Private Chef or professional cook in a private home
• Strong background in healthy, clean cooking
• Ability to create varied and innovative menus
• Experience with Mexican and Japanese cuisine preferred
• Comfortable working with seafood and fresh ingredients
• Ability to manage shopping, kitchen organization, and meal prep independently
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Must pass an advanced third-party background check (paid by client)

• Schedule: Full days Monday-Friday + half day Saturday
