About the Company

Established in 2014, Hinoki Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with the mission of promoting Japanese-English bilingualism and Japanese-American biculturalism among Michigan schoolchildren.  Hinoki Foundation provides services to groups dedicated to the creation of globally-minded individuals, through the development of language and multicultural skills.  Since acquiring a second language at a younger age produces better outcomes with respect to accent, vocabulary, fluency, and listening comprehension, Hinoki Foundation supports programs that help children to acquire a second language during the developmental stages that are most productive for the task:  preschool through high school.
