The Role
We’re hiring an Account Executive – Mid-Market & Enterprise to own the full sales cycle for Omakase.AI. This role is ideal for a consultative seller who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys selling emerging technology, and wants to help define how a new category of Voice and Conversational AI is brought to market.
You’ll work closely with founders, product, and customer success to guide prospects from early discovery through close – and ensure a strong foundation for long-term customer success and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers – from prospecting and discovery through solution design, negotiation, and close
- Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand customer goals, product complexity, and conversion challenges, and position Omakase as a strategic solution for product discovery and customer experience
- Educate prospects on the value of Voice AI and conversational commerce, helping them envision new customer journeys and buying behaviors enabled by AI
- Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving ecommerce, digital, product, CX, marketing, and executive teams
- Partner closely with Customer Success during late-stage deals, onboarding handoffs, and expansion planning to ensure continuity, trust, and long-term value
- Build and maintain a healthy, predictable pipeline through a mix of inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and strategic account development
- Clearly articulate ROI and business impact through demos, storytelling, and commercial proposals tied to conversion, engagement, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface customer feedback, objections, and market insights that influence roadmap and positioning
- Contribute to the development of early sales playbooks, messaging, qualification frameworks, and go-to-market strategy as the sales function scales
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene to support revenue planning and leadership visibility
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with ownership of full-cycle deals in mid-market and/or enterprise segments
- Proven ability to sell consultative, value-driven solutions – especially products that introduce new workflows or customer behaviors
- Comfort selling technical or AI-powered products, with the ability to translate capabilities into clear business outcomes for non-technical buyers
- Experience leading complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long-term deal momentum
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with confidence presenting to executives and functional leaders
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment and help define scalable sales processes
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience selling into e-commerce, DTC, retail, or digital experience teams
- Familiarity with conversion funnels, product discovery, PDPs, search, personalization, or on-site experimentation
- Prior experience with conversational AI, voice interfaces, generative AI, or automation platforms
- Experience selling into founder-led or high-growth startup environments
- Comfort selling a category-defining product where education and vision-setting are part of the sales process
