Account Manager, International Publishing Partners

Location: Remote / Flexible
Team: International Business Development
Reports to: Head of International Sales (or COO)
Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for existing publishing partners (Italy, Spain, Germany,Japan, China, Netherlands; with Korea, Turkey, UAE in pipeline)
  • Track and proactively manage reorders, new product introductions, and royalty reports
  • Provide partners with updated marketing materials, book assets, and sales kits
  • Initiate and support joint campaigns, seasonal promotions, exhibitions, and trade events
  • Identify gaps or issues in the current process and propose improvements
  • Work closely with the COO or International team lead to build scalable partner operations

You will play a key role in making this channel stable, scalable, and ready for the next phase of growth.

Requirements
You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have 2-5 years of experience in international account management, publishing, or licensing
  • Understand how to balance detail orientation and relationship-building
  • Know how to structure internal processes while being empathetic with partners
  • Are a proactive communicator who can handle multiple time zones and cultures
  • Speak fluent English (additional languages like Spanish, Italian, Japanese, or Mandarin are a plus)
  • Bonus: background in publishing, logistics, or international legal/royalty documentation
