Summary
Maintains the highest levels of customer satisfaction through various supply chain, processing, and communicative activities. Will probably contact other company units. Knows and applies fundamental concepts and procedures, may check work of support or earlier levels of sales or trading workers. Customers are both domestic and international. All business is conducted primarily in English. Day to day activities will be directed by management.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as main point of contact for customers and suppliers on routine business and routine day-to day issues. Includes email, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetings.
- Facilitate JIT deliveries – Communicate with suppliers, production control, transportation companies, and customers to ensure JIT delivery.
- Calculate material orders, place orders in ERP system and submit to suppliers, manage deliveries, and pricing.
- Comply with Import & Export documentation requirements.
- Assure reconciliation of AR and A/P.
- Controlling Inventory – managing the balance between customer demand and supplier schedules to avoid shortages or aged inventory (basic supply chain management).
- Set Up Parts in the Database – Collect all necessary information for new parts from customers and use these to set up parts with our compliance and ERP systems. Assisting with Accounting and Quality Issues – help other departments resolve issues when needed.
- Analyze and report on monthly Key Performance Indicators: Sales, profit, AR, and inventory.
- File maintenance, forecasting, and special projects.
- Maintain Excellent Relationships with Customers and Suppliers – Daily follow-up and reassurance to customers and suppliers will be required in order to be successful.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Licenses, certifications, etc.)
* Knowledge of nonferrous metals (aluminum, copper, lithium, and etc.) is a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sales, marketing, finance, economics, or Management; and 1 year related experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP/JDE a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Knowing Japanese or Spanish a plus.
