  1. General Summary:
    Responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable Manager in the day to day processing of accounts payable and providing guidance to the Accounts Payable Analysts as needed. This includes the invoice vouchering process through cash disbursement. Analyzes and processes invoices on a timely basis for payments to suppliers and between intercompany plants.
  2. Essential Job Functions:

A. Enter Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) invoices and validate approved invoices.

B. Coordinate with other TBA departments to address supplier issues on a timely basis.

C. Manage the supplier payment process

D. Coordinate the iExpense payment process

E. Maintain Recurring invoice schedule

F. Assist in resolution of Inspyrus errors

G. Understand TBA’s business flows to ensure appropriate coding and data is captured.

H. Follow safety, quality, confidentiality, and information security policies and procedures.

  • Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Business required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Entry to four (4) years of work experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll processing, or other general accounting and finance function required.
  • At least one (1) year of accounts payable experience as well as a broad understanding of general accounting.
  • Experience with three-way match payments processing.

Personal/Technical Skills:

  • General understanding and working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • General business knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiar with root cause analysis and problem solving methods.
  • Ability to process and maintain high volume of accounts payable records for special accounts and projects.
  • Must provide quick responses to internal and/or external customers and meet payment deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and analysis capability.
  • Strong multitasking and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer service orientation with both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated a desire and ability to learn.

Language Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Japanese, Spanish, and/or Portuguese would be helpful, but are not required.

Computer/Software:

  • ERP System experience (Oracle preferred).
  • Requires proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Lotus Outlook, Internet, etc.).

  1. Physical Demands:

Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
