JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking for a results-oriented Associate HRBP to work with HRBPs in delivering comprehensive HR services to designated business units. As a member of our HRBP team, not only will you provide guidance to your client groups, but you will have the opportunity to build processes and directly help our teams develop and scale. This role requires someone who can succeed in a challenging and fast-paced environment and work very well with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to a growing organization to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain working relationships with managers, and employees
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices
  • Support HRBPs in executing initiatives aimed at improving the organizational health and development for specific business units
  • Develop HR metrics to generate valuable data insights for business to identify trends as it relates to employee headcount, employee turnover, hiring etc.
  • Support HRBPs in annual calibration, merit, and equity planning process for various client groups
  • Support HR alignment by collaborating with HRBPs and various HR functions across the business to drive consistent execution of HR services
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and our Talent Acquisition Team to support the hiring process
  • Thoughtfully engage with employees on general queries about compensation, career frameworks, internal mobility, and real-life scenarios in need of coaching
  • Work on a variety of HR projects and programs to set the HRBP team for success
  • Review and manage monthly audits to identify inconsistencies, errors and discrepancies
  • Assist in conducting employee investigations and partner with the employee relations team
  • Support performance management process including performance reviews and coaching.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and data analytics to enhance HR metrics, identify trends and support data driven decision making for business units.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of HR technology solutions, including AI-driven platforms to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of driving for results and successfully completing complex projects
  • Demonstrated ability to influence people managers and gain commitment for new ideas
  • Ability to prioritize work, and effective time management
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with a global team
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
  • Good understanding of Employee Relations and US employment laws
  • Experience or working knowledge of general immigration process
  • Prior experience partnering with COE’s
  • Proficiency in using Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Workday experience will be a plus
  • Strong facilitation skills is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI applications in HR, including predictive analytics, talent intelligence platform and automation tools is highly desirable.
  • A demonstrated aptitude for learning and adopting to new technologies particularly those leveraging AI, with a strong desire to innovate using AI.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required with a preference for an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience in roles of progressively increasing scope and in matrixed, high-growth, organizations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.

USD $62,856.00 – $107,136.00 annually
