Casa Madera is a high-energy, fine-dining concept from hospitality group Noble 33, located in both West Hollywood and Toronto.

Our elevated dining concept is for an experienced Bartender who is familiar with a wide variety of craft cocktails and can deliver excellent customer service. The Bartender will be responsible for keeping the drinks flowing, the guests satisfied, and the business running smoothly. In order to do this, the Bartender will serve patrons at the bar while fulfilling drink orders for the dining room, monitoring the cash drawer at the bar, and maintaining alcohol and beverage control and proper inventory levels.

Bartender reports to the General Manager, as well as all other management staff, working closely with the Bar Manager regarding Bar & Beverage operations and functions. The Bartender can go directly to the Bar Manager regarding any issues, operational ideas & concerns however reports directly to all management and the General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed
  • Keep bar area and liquor room clean and organized in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift and be able to account for any discrepancies in the final drawer tally
  • Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum
  • Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times
  • Assist training of new hires and promote constant growth and learning to ensure brand standards are maintained
  • Maintain awareness of new bar items and cocktails
  • Effectively communicate between Bar and servers, bussers and runners, and staff and management regarding 86’d items, menu changes, etc.
  • Ensure correct products are being used as specified by Beverage Director and the menu
  • Ensure all items are prepared properly by bar prep
  • Ensure that opening and closing duties are being completed to standard
  • Build rapport with guests in order to grow our number of repeat customers

Qualifications

  • Night, weekend, and holiday availability
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
  • Experience working a high volume bar, preferably within a fine dining setting
