About This Role

M.M.LaFleur is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented intern to support our Brand and Retail Marketing initiatives. This role will be pivotal in assisting with the planning and execution of in-store events, contributing to broader brand activations, and providing on-site support to our retail teams. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of brand and retail marketing within a woman-led fashion brand, and to directly impact our customer engagement and brand image.

This is a part-time position requiring 12-16 hours per week, based in our NYC office with a consistent presence in our retail locations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, depending on the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Marketing & Operations Support:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of in-store marketing initiatives and events, such as sip-and-shops, styling sessions, and product launches, including catering coordination and vendor communication.
    • Help create event timelines, checklists, and accurate event runs of show, coordinating with store teams as necessary on in-store marketing materials, promotional items, and event supplies as needed
    • Provide on-site support during retail events, assisting with setup, customer engagement (e.g., check-ins, managing activations), and breakdown.
    • Provide on-site support to NYC-based retail teams as needed during regular store hours, assisting with customer experience and inventory management
    • Support other retail projects as needed.
  • Brand Marketing Support:
    • Contribute to the logistical planning and execution of broader brand activations and press events
    • Assist in compiling vendor quotes (e.g., caterers, photographers, decor) for brand and PR events.
    • Assist with sourcing and outreach of corporate clients and brand partners
    • Support the creation and tracking of event-specific merchandise and promotional materials, coordinating shipments as needed.
    • Assist with the coordination of sample send-outs.
    • Support other brand marketing projects as needed.
  • Administrative & Coordination Tasks:
    • Assist with expense tracking by collecting and organizing receipts and invoices related to brand, retail, and PR events.
    • Help maintain an inventory of marketing and PR materials, signage, and supplies for all initiatives.
    • Coordinate couriers and shipping for event and press-related materials.

This position is based out of our corporate office in lower Manhattan. This role should work from the office 2-3 days per week.

  • This role will be eligible for commuter benefits and an employee discount

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
