THE JOB:

As a Busperson at Morimoto in MGM Grand, you will be a vital part of an internationally acclaimed dining destination that blends innovative Japanese cuisine with bold, modern design. In this role, you will help maintain the entire restaurant-including the dining room, storerooms, food pickup areas, and beverage stations-ensuring all spaces consistently meet established cleanliness, organization, and stock standards. Your strong attention to detail and teamwork will support seamless service execution, helping deliver a refined and memorable dining experience worthy of the Morimoto name.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.7137 USD Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner preferred
• Previous experience as a Busperson in a Fine Dining or similar restaurant preferred
