Job Summary:
The Digital Designer will play a pivotal role in defining and enhancing Yami’s brand identity, products and service across all digital platforms. This role focuses on creating visually compelling, cohesive, and on-brand content for websites, apps, digital ads, email marketing, and social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is a creative visionary with a modern design aesthetic, bringing expertise in eCommerce, CPG, and retail industries. They must excel in a fast-paced, high-volume eCommerce environment, producing responsive and functional designs that align with business goals and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality digital assets (email designs, digital ads, paid social content, etc.) while adhering to brand guidelines and project timelines.
  • Lead creative projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop multi-channel brand assets that align with business objectives.
  • Work with related teams (Marketing, Product, Tech) to ensure final designs are implemented accurately across websites, emails, and apps, utilizing internal tools and systems.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary creative team to bring innovative concepts to life.
  • Maintain a high standard of design quality and ensure consistency across all assets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in digital design or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
  • Experience designing responsive web pages, email templates, paid media, and managing design systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Solid understanding of typography, grid systems, and inclusive design principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to create pixel-perfect designs.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and the marketing lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage design projects from concept through completion.
  • Familiarity with UX principles and user-centered design practices.
  • Proficiency in motion design, video editing, and/or illustration.
  • Expertise in AI design tools and automation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and/or Korean is a plus.
  • Experience with major marketplace platforms (TikTok Shop, Temu, Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
