What The Role Entails
The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and scale global hiring for our rapidly growing data center business and expanding portfolios. This role will oversee a globally integrated talent acquisition function that delivers high-volume operational hiring as well as hard-to-fill technical and specialist roles including electrical, mechanical, commissioning, network, power, construction, project management, site operations, specialized real estate, and technical leadership positions.
This position will also oversee Talent Acquisition for CloudHQ’s sister entities, to include Cloud Capital, Dalian Development, and WindHQ.
What You Get to Do
You will drive efforts to meet aggressive growth targets across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC by building best-in-class global TA capabilities powered by data analytics and AI to enhance speed, quality, and measurable impact. This is a hands-on strategic leadership position requiring the ability to design and implement scalable programs, coach and develop senior recruiters, and personally lead searches for the most complex roles. Reporting directly to the SVP of Human Resources, you will execute comprehensive talent strategies that position CloudHQ as an employer of choice in the competitive data center and critical infrastructure market.
- Partner with executive and regional leadership to forecast workforce needs across technical, operations and support functions.
- Develop and execute a global TA strategy aligned to business growth
- Establish talent metrics and dashboards, KPIs, and analytics frameworks to measure quality of hire, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance, pipeline health, source ROI and retention correlation
- Build a scalable, cost-effective TA operating model that balances centralized service, regional specialization and local execution
- Own delivery for mission-critical technical roles and executive hiring
- Use analytics to tell the TA story to stakeholders, demonstrating impact on time-to-productivity, revenue/project delivery and retention
- Implement AI-enabled tools and automation to free up recruiter time (sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, candidate experience workflows) while safeguarding fairness and quality
- Pilot generative AI for role profiling, outreach personalization, and candidate engagement; establish guardrails and governance
- Standardize best-practice recruitment processes and build exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences across regions
- Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with local employment laws and promote diverse, equitable and inclusive hiring practices
- Directly manage and mentor the US Talent Acquisition Manager and EMEA/APAC Talent Acquisition Manager
- Foster collaboration across regions while respecting local market dynamics and cultural considerations
- Create career development pathways and succession planning within the talent acquisition function
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for critical roles including Data Center Managers, Critical Facilities Engineers, Network Engineers, and Operations Technicians.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with executive search firms and specialized technical recruiters
- Build strategic talent pipelines for hard-to-fill specializations including electrical and mechanical engineering
- Represent the company at industry conferences, university partnerships, and professional association events
Requirements

- Strong experience in building recruitment capability: sourcing strategies, operations, vendor management, employer brand, and senior/executive search
- Experience with technical and operational hiring for engineering, construction, real estate, or mission-critical environments
- Data-first mindset: demonstrable experience building dashboards, using analytics to influence stakeholders, and translating TA metrics into business outcomes.
- Practical experience deploying AI / automation in recruitment
- Excellent stakeholder management, as well as exceptional communication and influencing skills; able to present insight-driven recommendations to executive & leadership teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and high growth environment; high ownership and bias for action
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and recruiting across multiple international markets

The Director, Talent Acquisition must be based in the Washington, DC or London offices.
