POSITION SUMMARY

The Dishwasher is responsible for delivering clean and sanitized plateware and glassware to our guests. This position is critical to our guests overall experience as the Dishwasher must ensure the plateware and glassware are clean and stocked for our guests to have a memorable experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
  • Assemble dish machine and pot sinks to prepare for washing dishes, glassware, pots and pans
  • Change water in the dish machine at a minimum every two hours, or earlier if necessary, and replace with fresh water to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
  • Ensure proper water temperature constantly
  • Clean all dishes properly using the dish machine or washing by hand
  • Check all dishes after cleaning to ensure 100% cleanliness
  • Sort clean silverware
  • Organize the dish area for efficient use of space
  • Sweep and mop floors throughout the entire dish area and back of house to maintain a clean environment
  • Carry boxes and trash from the kitchen to the dumpster mainlining cleanliness throughout restaurant
  • Demonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all times
  • Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately
  • Perform any job function requested by the management team
