• Position Overview:
The SAP ERP Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting the SAP ERP system within the organization. This role involves system optimization, maintenance, user support, and collaboration with business departments to improve business processes.
• Key Responsibilities:
SAP ERP System Implementation & Management:
- Plan and execute the implementation of the SAP ERP system.
- Configure, customize, test, and deploy the system.
- Manage system updates and apply patches as needed.
System Performance and Optimization:
- Monitor SAP system performance and suggest improvements.
- Customize and optimize the system based on business department requirements.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Identify and resolve system issues and malfunctions.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving to SAP users.
User Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for users on SAP system functionality.
- Offer support for the introduction of new features or modules.
Project Management:
- Lead SAP-related projects, managing timelines, resources, and progress.
- Coordinate budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for projects.
Business Process Improvement:
- Analyze current business processes and provide improvement suggestions through SAP ERP solutions.
- Work with business departments to optimize system usage.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate closely with senior management and other departments to gather requirements and coordinate projects.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate reports on SAP system performance and operations.
- Maintain and update documentation (system configurations, project plans, etc.).
• Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written).
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, etc.).
- Experience with ABAP, Fiori, and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Experience in system integration and data migration.
- Project Management Experience:
- Experience managing SAP projects from planning through execution.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to work well with business departments and provide problem-solving solutions.
- Experience in user training and education.
