About the Role
The Expo (Expediter) plays a critical role in the flow of service by ensuring orders are accurate, visually appealing, and promptly delivered to guests. This position serves as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house team, supporting a smooth and efficient dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and servers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Confirm all dishes leaving the kitchen meet presentation, temperature, and order accuracy standards.
- Communicate special requests or dietary needs clearly between FOH and BOH teams.
- Prioritize and organize tickets to ensure efficient flow of service.
- Garnish and inspect plates before sending them to the dining room.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo line and pass-through area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth service, especially during peak hours.
- Assist with packing takeout orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
- Step in to assist team members as needed to ensure seamless guest service.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask in a high-volume setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must have (or be willing to obtain) a valid food handler’s permit.
