About Us:
Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya brings the most authentic Japanese ramen experience outside of Japan. We use traditional techniques, including a unique bone-roasting method, to create rich, flavorful broths. Kizuki Ramen’s philosophy is to serve the most traditional, authentic and delicious Japanese ramen that you can possibly have without actually flying to Japan.
Every restaurant is designed to immerse guests in Japanese culture-from open-kitchen layouts to attentive service and thoughtful details that enhance the dining experience.
With multiple locations across the U.S., our mission is to share the art of Japanese ramen.
Position Overview:
As a General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of multi-unit restaurant operations. You will maintain high standards of food quality, service, and operational efficiency while fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and quality control.
- Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional service and a welcoming dining environment.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, cost control, and profitability to drive financial success.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor team members to promote excellence and professional growth.
- Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate on promotions, events, and community engagement initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations, as well as company policies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in hospitality or food service.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering a customer-centric experience.
Additional Requirement:
Initial 2-month travel assignment to Seattle, WA; role will then be based in San Francisco, CA.
