Role Overview
EAH is seeking an outgoing, energetic HR Generalist that will be responsible for providing HR day-to-day support for our distribution center (DC) and customer service (CS) teams. The ideal candidate will partner with the broader HR and management teams to enable the entire employee lifecycle for assigned employee populations. The role reports directly to the CHRO and is responsible for the following areas:
Key Requirements
- Accountable for hiring distribution center and customer service hourly roles at ECS and other banners as assigned
- Lead employee onboarding and offboarding for the assigned client groups
- Conduct employee orientation sessions; providing a positive first experience for new hires
- Partner with management teams on performance management cycles, including launching reviews for employees
- Generate real-time recruiting dashboards for the DC and CS management teams
- Partner with the People Engagement Council to deliver on site initiatives regarding culture and employee engagement
- Support the EAH HR team with creating and implementing policies, handbooks, and learning and development material / presentations
- Accurately enter new hire and termination data into the HR system and maintain accurate electronic employee records
- Provide timely response to employee inquiries on a wide variety of employment topics
- Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all HR data
- Be adaptable to change and demonstrate flexibility in handling various HR tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Entry level (0 to 5 years of experience) in HR operations or a similar role
- A commitment and understanding to protecting highly confidential employee data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality data management
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment contributing to the success of the team as a whole
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to an evolving environment
- Problem solves with limited information and collaboratively drive towards solutions
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while delivering on commitments
- Comfortable interacting with employees at various levels of the organization while always providing exceptional and professional customer service
