Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern as a New Business Development Coordinator to join our International Sales & Operations team. This role is critical in identifying and supporting new business development processes, documentation exchange, and basic communications. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in basic aspects of international business.

Essential Functions

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging markets, potential partners, and new business opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification: Support the qualification of leads by monitoring the International Distributor Application pipeline and identifying viable customer prospects for next steps.
  • Document Support: Assist in the creation, monitoring, and editing of basic new customer development documentation, including pricing, presentations, product brand information, and legal documents such as NDAs.
  • Project Coordination: Track progress on new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) and external partners to facilitate and support new customer onboarding basic steps and processes.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities and prepare regular updates for leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to business development processes and tools.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
  • Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales support, or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Foreign language proficiency in Korean or Japanese is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international distributors or suppliers.
  • Familiarity with agency agreements, registration processes, or legal documentation in global markets.
  • Exposure to the health, wellness, or consumer goods sectors.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate keyboard, mouse, and other computer equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities include close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, extensive reading, proofreading and comparison.
